Start of the Day
- The classroom doors open at 08:40 and the school day begins at 08:45 for Years 1–6
- The classroom doors open at 08:45 and the school day begins at 08:55 for Year R
- Parents are responsible for ensuring children arrive at their classroom on time
- Late arrivals must enter through the School Office and be signed in using our SignIn system
All children enter school through their cloakroom door and leave via their classroom door. Each cloakroom door will have one member of the phase team ready to greet the children and take any brief messages from parents to pass on to class teachers. Foundation Stage staff greet children at the gate and are available to speak with parents briefly.
End of the Day
- Foundation Stage children finish at 15:05 and are handed directly to a named adult
- Year 1, 2 and 3 children finish at 15:15 and are also handed to a named adult
- Year 4, 5 and 6 children finish at 15:15 and are released from the classroom door
- Parents of older pupils must arrange a clear pick-up point if they are not collecting from the classroom.
- Staff remain at the classroom door if children prefer to wait for their parent.
After School Club
- Children attending After School Club are collected from their classrooms and registered by ASC staff
Late Collection
- Children not collected within 15 minutes of their finish time will be taken to the School Office and parents may be charged ASC rates.
