Jeavons Wood PTA is a registered charity made up of parents, carers and teachers who work together to raise additional funds for activities and equipment that benefit the children of Jeavons Wood Primary School and Preschool.
Our fundraising aims to advance pupils’ education by providing facilities and resources that fall outside the school budget but support the curriculum. We also work to strengthen links between home and school by bringing staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school.
The PTA is overseen by an elected committee. Current members are:

The PTA aims to:
- Organise fun charity activities and events for children and their families
- Raise funds for resources not covered by the school budget
- Provide opportunities that welcome and encourage parents and carers into the school community

Jeavons Wood PTA is a registered charity (No. 1158028). We have adopted the ParentKind model constitution, which provides formal recognition and legal status.
Charitable status enables us to:
- Apply for grants from trusts and companies
- Access Payroll Giving and Match Funding schemes
- Benefit from tax exemptions
- Claim Gift Aid on eligible donations
